DLE 55 Petrol Engine

  DLE engines have built a fomidable reputation firstly with the DL 50.They have now improved the design offering the new DLE 55. The DLE 55 is a 55cc engine designed specifically for high performance aircraft.It uses a 3 bearing shaft as well as two needel bearings on its conecting rod. Its design reflects the need for high power, durability, and reliability with smooth trouble free operation flight after flight.

The DLE-55 is specifically designed to R/C aircraft.This pays back in reliability and low vibration giveing increased life of your airframe.The DLE 55 weighs a mere 1349g. No more than any equivalent 50cc engine such as the DA-50 but with just that bit more punch!

The DLE 55 is complete with an "Auto Advance Electronic Ignition"

Technical Notes

We are recommending that the DLE 55 ignition should be powered by a 4.8 volt battery pack or 5v reg only.

Use 30:1 mineral oil for runing in then 45:1 synthectic there after
